This will be one of only a handful of performances this fall due to the bands commitments to their solo endeavors: Guitarist Elgin Park just scored the new Judd Apatow film, Funny People, while keyboardist Robert Walter has recently finished recording with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s frontman Alex Ounsworth for his upcoming solo release. Drummer Aaron Redfield just wrapped up performing on the new record by our friends Cake and will be joining them on their August tour dates, while bassist Chris Stillwell will be joining saxophonist Karl Denson”s Tiny Universe on tour this fall in support of Karl’s new album, Brother’s Keeper, which will be released on September 15th. More info on Karl’s upcoming tour and release are available at KarlDenson.com.
The Allstars have one last summer festival date on Sunday August 23 at the Mountain West Music Festival in Whistler, British Columbia. Other artists include Xavier Rudd and DJ Z-Trip, tickets are available from mountainwestmusicfest.com.
