The Greyboy Allstars will be returning to the road in April taking on the East Coast after a very successful Northwest trip. Performing to sell out crowds, the band broke out a number of tunes that have never been performed live. The upcoming run has the band hitting spots missed on their previous tours, as well as returns to their favorite locales.
This will be the last tour from the band for awhile as everyone focuses on their other projects:
Karl Denson will be touring the globe with former bossman Lenny Kravitz for most of the year, and he is also planning on recording a new Tiny Universe record.
Robert Walter will be touring with his trio in support of his most recent release, “Cure All”, available now from Palmetto Records, and will also be handling keyboard duties for Susan Tedeschi on her upcoming album and tour.
Elgin Park aka (Michael Andrews) will continue to produce records, including an upcoming release with Van Dyke Parks in an orchestral setting, as well as working on a new film (or two or three).
Chris Stillwell will continue to sell the most rare and in-demand records on E-bay while Aaron Redfield continues as the super LA session musician.
The Allstars are also planning a return to the studio in the fall to work on the follow-up to 2007’s “What Happened To Television?”. We are running a number of contests and giveaways and will be releasing new and old tracks through our Myspace and web pages over the next few months so stay in touch!
